Men can also use ANNA’S. For men, the recommended daily amount is ¼ of a 2.5ml teaspoon morning and night, used consistently.

We do not recommend using manmade bio-identical progesterone or synthetic progestins while using ANNA'S, as these can override the nutrients in the cream.  

ANNA'S works to naturally support the production of all your steroid hormones, not just progesterone. Similarly, we advise not using ANNA'S alongside HRT or any manmade hormones, as the synthesised hormones will counteract the cream’s effects. 

For women coming off bio-identical hormones, a shorter weaning period of about 2 months is usually sufficient. Some women find that bio-identicals don’t suit them - often because the manufactured hormone dose is too high and in those cases, coming off immediately or over a shorter period works better.

A small number of very sensitive women have reported a pink, itchy rash about 2-3 weeks after starting ANNA’S. This usually only appears where the cream is applied and may be caused by herbal extracts or aloe vera.

What you can try:

• Apply the cream to your palms or soles instead – the active ingredients will still be absorbed, and you can enjoy the benefits without the rash.

Important:

• Make sure you’ve purchased authentic ANNA’S from our official website or an authorised seller. Counterfeit products have been known to cause skin issues.
• In rare cases, some extremely sensitive women may develop a rash elsewhere. If that happens, stop using ANNA’S immediately.

ANNA'S is a natural, hormone-free cream, so you can stop using it whenever you feel like it. We recommend continuing use even when you feel relief from your symptoms to help keep natural balance. One thing to keep in mind: if you're post-menopausal, it's a good idea to take the recommended 7-day break to keep your body in sync. This helps your body stay responsive to the nutrients and avoid getting too used to them. 

ANNA'S Wild Yam Cream has a slight earthy scent. We don’t use any perfumes or added fragrances in any of our products. Any scent you notice comes purely from the herbs and active ingredients.

It has a light, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly and easily meaning it can be applied under clothes. To ensure your tube stays fresh, keep your lid sealed and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. When warm, our cream can be a little runnier than usual. This doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the cream at all.

Many women have used ANNA'S during pregnancy to support their body's natural hormone production, including progesterone - the 'balancing' hormone that helps maintain a healthy pregnancy. If you decide to use ANNA'S while pregnant, we recommend applying ¼ of a 2.5ml teaspoon every morning and night without breaks until the 7th month.  

This can help support your body's natural progesterone production. Some women also choose to start using ANNA'S after giving birth, as the sudden drop in progesterone can sometimes lead to postpartum depression.  

Yes! Many women use ANNA’S while breast feeding. 

If you have just had a baby you can use ANNA'S immediately morning and night every day for around 4 months and then start to create a cycle for yourself following the Menstrual Pain and Spasms protocol in our user guide

If the baby has been born for several or more months, you can create a cycle for yourself either by working from the date the baby was born or if that was some time ago, start the cream and call the day you start Day 5 of your new cycle.  

You would follow the Menstrual Pain and Spasms protocol exactly, making sure you stop the cream on Day 28 and restarting 5 days later which becomes Day 5 of your new cycle.

It’s very important that the new cycle is commenced on Day 5 for women who do not get a period 5 days after stopping on Day 28. 

When your period arrives, continue with the Menstrual Pain and Spasms protocol. 

ANNA'S Wild Yam Cream contains natural nutrients that help your body produce its steroid hormones, including progesterone, often called the “balancing” hormone.  

Many women find it helpful to try ¼ of a 5ml teaspoon morning and night for a month without a break to see if their bleeding comes back under control.

We suggest following the Menstrual Pain and Spasms protocol exactly.  

Always stop on Day 28, unless your period with full flow arrives earlier. Then, start the cream 5 days later, which becomes Day 5 of your new cycle, even if you’re still bleeding. You can find the full protocol in our User Guide.

We don’t recommend using ANNA'S beyond Day 28, as the nutrients in the cream trigger your body to naturally produce steroid hormones, including progesterone - often called the “balancing” hormone that helps support the uterus. Using the cream past Day 28 may slightly extend your cycle, rather than having your period arrive on the expected Day 28/29.

ANNA'S is designed to help your body maintain cholesterol at the healthy level your body actually needs, though statins may interfere with this process. 

We’re unable to provide medical advice, but we’d love to help you understand how ANNA'S works here. If you’re considering using ANNA’S, it’s a great idea to talk with your doctor, especially if you’ve been taking bio-identical or other manmade hormones. Many doctors may not know that ANNA'S contains only phyto-sterol nutrients and no manmade hormones. Long-term use of manmade progesterone can accumulate in fat tissues and potentially affect other steroid hormones, like DHEA and testosterone. Your doctor can guide you on the best approach for your individual situation. 

For women who have had a hysterectomy, we suggest following the Post-Menopause Protocol, since without a uterus, periods will no longer occur.  

After two months of use, we recommend taking a two-week break from the cream. This is because, back when we were still having periods, our bodies weren’t producing progesterone or our three oestrogens during bleeding - our hormone cycles are used to this rhythm. 

For simplicity, we suggest taking the break from the first day of each month, resuming ANNA'S on Day 7. It’s an easy routine to get used to.  

If a woman still has her ovaries, she may notice feelings of when her periods would have occurred. In that case, we suggest timing the 7-day break to coincide with these natural sensations.
